FROZEN SEMEN AVAILABLE
Ollie is a proven sire and available to approved bitches - please contact Emma.
My best friend, my special boy.. Ollie is everything anyone could want in a golden. He has a one in a million temperament: he loves people, loves a cuddle and his capacity for love and empathy is phenomenal. He is my heart dog and means the absolute world to me. He is my first show dog, and we learned the ropes of the show world together. Judges regularly comment on his beautiful head and expression, along with his fluid, standout movement.
At his show debut he won Best Baby Puppy in Group under gundog specialist Mr Keith McCarthy at the Caulfield and District Kennel Club 2016 Championship Show and followed this up with a Baby of Breed at the Victorian Gundog Club Open Show in 2016.
He has a delightful personality and is a real show pony in and out of the ring. I am thankful to Jane Fall for giving me the opportunity to own and show such a beautiful boy.
September 2016: Ollie placed first in his Minor Dog class at the Royal Melbourne Show, under Mr Svend Lovenkjaer (Denmark)
July 2017: Demonstrating how wonderful he is with children and people, Ollie starred as 'Sandy' in Hazelglen College's production of Annie, to full houses and plenty of applause!
October 2018: Ollie received a lovely critique (even when he was shown out of coat) at the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria's 2018 championship show, placing in a large and tough class of Intermediate dogs.
"Upstanding pale gold dog. Not in his best coat today. Lovely head, good length of neck and layback of
shoulder. Short loin. Balanced angulation. Moved well with plenty of drive."
July 2019: Ollie goes BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at the Victorian Gundog Club of Victoria Open Show, under judges Charlotte Shah and Dave Lassam.
August 2019: At Lilydale KC Treasure Chest Show, a 'feature show' for Golden Retrievers, out of 36 Golden Retriever entries, Ollie takes home a 17 point DOG CHALLENGE and RUNNER UP BEST OF BREED.
2021: After close to 12 months out of the ring due to COVID-19, Ollie goes BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP at the first show back in Victoria under Mr Bryan Mangelsdorf, and follows it up with RESERVE DOG CHALLENGE under world renowned Gundog Specialist Guy Spagnolo at the SYDNEY ROYAL DOG SHOW
2022: Ollie wins a large Aus Bred dog class and takes out RESERVE DOG CHALLENGE at the 2022 Royal Melbourne Show!
2023: The oldest in the class, Ollie comes FOURTH in a huge Australian Bred Dog class at the GOLDEN RETRIEVER NATIONAL 2023 under judge Antonio Lopez of the renowned Ria Vela kennel in Spain.
Critique: Quality dog maybe not in his best coat today, masculine head, strong neck , good shoulders, correct upper arm, good proportions, level topline, good rear angulation, moves well.
2024: Under world renowned judge and breeder Mr Sjoerd Jobse (SWE) Ollie was BEST VETERAN IN SHOW.
Critique: 8 years, good size, well proportioned, lovely masculine head soft expression, correct neck and topline, enough angulation good hindquarters, deep in body with substance, enough width in front, very good bone and feet, moves with good side gait and enough strength lovely coat and condition.
